Eyepiece Imaging takes your photography to the next level beyond wide-field. It requires more patience and involves some more skill, but the close-up images you will be able to capture of celestial objects can quite exciting, and simply take your breath away!

moon’s craters

planets

star clusters

bright nebulae

Note some of these are things that can not be seen with the naked eye

Equipment:

digital camera with video capabilities

electronic tracking telescope

adapter with a firm connection from camera to telescope’s eyepiece

guidescope or off-axis guider for deep sky images

image stacking photo editing software
